Northwestern profs awarded sabbaticals, research fellowships
Northwestern College has announced the names of professors awarded endowed research grants and sabbaticals for 2017–18.

ARTrageous, an interactive arts and music extravaganza, will be performed in Northwestern’s Christ Chapel on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m.

Artwork by Yun Shin, assistant professor of art at Northwestern, will be part of a group exhibition titled “Monochromatic,” presented by the Altered Esthetics Gallery in Minneapolis.

Emily Stokes, an assistant professor of art at Northwestern College, will display her work in Northwestern’s Te Paske Gallery Sept. 26 through Oct. 28.

Work by Northwestern art major included in juried exhibition
Work by Northwestern art major Ya-Wen Liu has been accepted for inclusion in the 2016 Nebraska National Undergraduate Juried Art Exhibition.

Northwestern College will open its 2016–17 art exhibit season with a show entitled "Assorted Arts" by Sioux City artist Amy Foltz.

Yun Shin, assistant professor of art, has been awarded an artist fellowship from the Iowa Arts Council.

Four graduating seniors at Northwestern College received Faculty Honors during the college’s commencement exercises on May 14.

Eleven Northwestern College professors will conduct research and pursue further study this summer with funding from the Northwestern College Scholarship Grants program.
