Northwestern students to study in Italy and Czechia this summer
Northwestern College students will head to Italy and Czechia this summer as part of two study abroad programs offered by the college’s global education office.

The Rev. Dr. Jerry Sittser, award-winning author and former Northwestern College chaplain, will speak during a chapel service on Friday, April 7, at 10:05 a.m. in Christ Chapel.

Dr. Charles Van Engen, professor emeritus of biblical theology of mission at Fuller Theological Seminary, will speak on the Latin American church on April 3 in the Vogel Community Room.

The Rev. Tony Campbell, associate general secretary for the Reformed Church in America, will speak during Northwestern College’s chapel service on Tuesday, March 28, in Christ Chapel.

Dr. John Hubers, assistant professor of religion and director of global education at Northwestern, presented a paper at the 60th annual Missouri Valley History Conference.

Author and refugee activist Sarah Thebarge will speak during Northwestern College’s chapel service on Tuesday, March 21, at 11:05 a.m. in Christ Chapel.

The Rev. Ben Aguilera, pastor of community and global engagement at Christ Memorial Church in Holland, Mich., will speak during chapel on Tuesday, Feb. 28.

The calling and mission of a Christian college will be the theme of Northwestern's Day of Learning in Community on Feb. 15, featuring Dr. Timothy Larsen from Wheaton College.
