Northwestern professors present at conference
Two members of Northwestern College’s faculty gave presentations at the Association for Scottish Literature conference at the University of Glasgow in Scotland.

Kim Van Es, lecturer in English at Northwestern College, presented at the annual conference of the Assembly for the Teaching of English Grammar in Charlottesville, Va.

Four graduating seniors at Northwestern College received Faculty Honors during the college’s commencement exercises on May 14.

Eleven Northwestern College professors will conduct research and pursue further study this summer with funding from the Northwestern College Scholarship Grants program.

Dr. Sam Martin, assistant professor of English at Northwestern College, presented at the 2016 Festival of Faith and Writing April 14–16 in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Dr. Michael Kensak, English and German professor at Northwestern, has recently completed an Advanced Certificate in Online Teaching from the Online Learning Consortium.

Northwestern College is one of 21 institutions selected to participate in the Council of Independent Colleges Consortium for Online Humanities Instruction II.
