Traveling Exhibit: German Iowa and the Global Midwest

This traveling exhibit, created by the Old Capitol Museum at the University of Iowa, highlights the history of Germans in Iowa, discussing immigration, communities and politics.  Yet the exhibit isn't only about the past; it uses the experience of Germans in Iowa to investigate pro- and anti-immigration sentiment, bilingualism and multiculturalism during times of national emergency.

Everyone's invited to the Celebration Banquet (previously known as the Legacy Banquet) as we celebrate donors, students and a brand new way to spread red. Enjoy food and fellowship with each other and students, as well as musical and dramatic entertainment. Donors previously notified will receive complimentary tickets at the door. Enjoy a Te Paske Gallery reception with Bob Kroese '77, Pella, Iowa, who carves bird sculptures. Members of the class of 1977 are special guests.

Tailgate Picnic & Class Reunions

$7/adult; $5/child, 6-10; children 5 and under free

All alumni, parents and campus visitors are invited to a catered tailgate picnic before the Raider football game. Space under the tailgate tent will be designated for alumni from the classes of 1967, 1977, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2007, 2012 and 2017. 

Raider Football vs. Morningside

Parents can get into the football game for free by showing your student's ID at the pass gate, which is on the southwest corner of DeValois Stadium. NWC Distinguished Alumni Award winners will be recognized at halftime.
