Tech-savvy
With her previous experience in website design, Grond made a huge impact on the library’s online presence by making resources more visible and accessible for students. She and her colleagues also keep students informed on library events and news through frequent social media posts.

Student motivator
During finals week, Grond and her team show their support for students by offering snacks and providing stress-relieving activities to motivate students through their studying.

History advocate
Grond, along with other faculty and staff, developed a book on Orange City’s history, including over 240 archival photographs. She also helped create an online open-access journal that showcases the research of Northwestern faculty.
