An MBA and experience as a financial planner make Eric Anderson well qualified to help students and their parents with the financial aid needed for a college education.
Aid adviser
Anderson helps students find financial assistance for their college career and creates financial aid packages. He assists students and their parents as they navigate governmental processes so they can receive the aid they need to attend Northwestern.
Invested in students
As a Northwestern resident director, Anderson enjoyed the five years he was able to personally impact students through their college experience. For the seven years following, he was Northwestern’s associate dean for residence life.
Financial expert
Anderson, who earned an MBA, worked for two years helping area families do financial planning before accepting his current position. Now he combines his love of math with his passion for college students to provide financial aid packages.
Sports fanatic
Not only did Anderson name his first and second dogs after Indiana Pacers All-Star Reggie Miller, but he also has a goal of going to every Major League Baseball stadium. He’s already visited 16 of the stadiums, including the Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Dodgers, Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees and San Diego Padres. For almost 25 years, he’s refereed basketball, starting back when he was a college student.
Seeking adventure
While Anderson didn’t originally have the goal of setting foot in all 50 states, he’s done it anyway through different family trips, vacations and Spring Service Partnerships. He’s also traveled to nine different countries, including Australia, France, the Netherlands, Honduras and Trinidad.
