Northwestern student Elise Arant to present senior art exhibit

Micropen drawings, acrylic and oil paintings, and screen prints are among the works that will be exhibited by Northwestern College senior Elise Arant in Te Paske Gallery March 18–23.

Elise Arant, a Northwestern College student from Omaha, Neb., will present her senior art exhibit in the college’s Te Paske Gallery March 18–23. A public reception is scheduled for Saturday, March 23, at 10:30 a.m.

Titled “It’s the Little Things,” Arant’s show will feature artwork inspired by the little things in life that bring her joy. The exhibit will include acrylic and oil paintings, micropen drawings, screen print and dry point prints, sculpture and ceramics, and digital photography and prints.

Arant is the daughter of Brian and Patricia Arant of Omaha. She is majoring in art/graphic design at Northwestern. Following her graduation this spring, she plans to move to the Los Angeles area and begin a graphic design/creative media internship with Gurl Gone Social in Santa Monica.

Northwestern’s Te Paske Gallery is located in the Thea G. Korver Visual Arts Center, on Highway 10 at 214 8th Street SW in Orange City. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
