Pastor Rudy Rubio, Reformed Church of Los Angeles

Raised in the toughest neighborhoods in Los Angeles, Rudy Rubio came to faith in a prison cell after living a life marked by gang violence and drug use and sales. He took time in prison to study the Scriptures and was captivated by how God spoke to him. Once on the verge of divorce, he and his wife, Edna,ended up leading a Spanish marriage ministry. He also served as the Celebrate Recovery ministry leader and as the director of congregational care and outreach at Emmanuel Reformed Church. Now leading a church start in Lynwood, CA, he is a passionate preacher and teacher who has a deep appreciation of the Reformed tradition.
