Four seniors receive Faculty Honors
Four graduating seniors—Jenna Boote, Matt Hulstein, Ben Kester and Brittany Lassen—received Faculty Honors at the college’s Honors Convocation.

John Vonder Bruegge, instructor in religion, has been named this year’s recipient of the Northwestern Teaching Excellence Award.

Christian musicians Jeremy Camp and Hawk Nelson will headline the fifth annual RiseFest at Northwestern’s soccer complex on June 20.

Music receives national commendation
Dr. Heather Josselyn-Cranson, NWC music professor, and Joseph Barker, a musician with band Hurricane Hearts, have received a special commendation from the national Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for their achievement as composers for "Terror Texts."

NWC to pin first nursing graduates
Northwestern College’s first Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduates will participate in a pinning ceremony May 14. Joining the eight seniors will be 21 sophomores who will formalize their commitment to practice Christ-centered nursing.
