History professor presents paper at Great Plains Symposium
Duane Jundt, lecturer in history, recently presented a paper at the Interdisciplinary Great Plains Studies Symposium in Omaha.
Karissa Carlson, instructor in chemistry, has earned her doctoral degree.

Spidahl helps to coordinate national conference
Dr. Rod Spidahl, associate professor of religion and missiology, is serving on the national steering committee for the Fellowship of Short-Term Mission Leaders conference.
Northwestern students will head around the world this summer on four-week study abroad trips led by NWC faculty and staff.

Faculty awarded grants for summer scholarship
Northwestern College Scholarship Grants were awarded to 11 NWC professors to fund their scholarship and research during the summer of 2008.
