GPS Marketing Specialist
The Graduate and Professional Studies (GPS) division at Northwestern College seeks a creative enrollment marketing professional to lead and execute marketing strategies that attract prospective students and support enrollment growth. This role is responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and print communication channels to support recruitment goals. This is a full-time 12-month position.
The marketing specialist manages the full marketing lifecycle, from campaign strategy and creative development to digital advertising, communication flows and webpages as well as helping with events and managing collateral. The position collaborates closely with GPS admissions and program directors to ensure messaging aligns with institutional brand standards while effectively reaching prospective students.
Specific title/level will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to develop marketing content across multiple media formats
- Strong project management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, enrollment marketing or admissions
- Experience in higher education
- Experience working with CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
- Experience designing marketing materials using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar platforms
- Knowledge of SEO, landing page optimization and marketing analytics tools
- Experience supporting graduate or adult learner recruitment
- Experience analyzing marketing performance data and adjusting campaigns accordingly
- Experience managing digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, or similar platforms)
