Northwestern College's Heritage Singers and Jazz Band will perform Friday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public.
In addition to lively Jazz Band repertoire, the event will feature the Heritage Singers in a program of emotive choral works. “Liebeslieder Waltzer (Love Song Waltzes)” by Johannes Brahms is scored for piano four hands and will be accompanied by Dr. Juyeon Kang and Janelle Phinney. “Dulaman” will welcome student fiddler Jamie Stoscher and alto Naomi Lief to the stage, and a King’s Singers arrangement of “Don’t Worry About Me” will bring the concert to a sentimental finish.
