Student recital by Katie Struck, voice

Soprano Katie Struck, a music major from Orange City, will present her junior vocal recital, assisted by her twin sister Clare, also a music major, and Janelle Phinney, staff accompanist.

Works to be performed include “Ch’io mai vi possa” from Handel’s Siroe, re di Persia; “Care Selve” from Handel’s Atalanta; Le Rossignol by Léo Delibes; “Der Holle Rache” from Mozart’s Die Zauberflote; “A Waterbird (Flying into the Sun)” and “Circling the Sun” from Gwyneth Walker’s song set The Sun is Love; White Fog by Daniel Carr; “Nothing Short of Wonderful” from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul’s Dogfight; “My House” from Leonard Bernstein’s Peter Pan; and “The Beauty Is” from Adam Guettel’s The Light in the Piazza.
