Winter Workshop Performance of "Sweat"
written by Lynn Nottage
directed by Robert Hubbard
Set in Reading, Pennsylvania, during the Great Recession, Sweat focuses on issues of race and class as it explores the tensions between friends who work in the same factory. The Pulitzer Prize-winning play offers a prophetic voice as our country wrestles with similar issues today. This workshop production takes place in conjunction with the Office of Intercultural Development.
