Morningsong

From the earliest days of the Church, Christians have turned to God in prayer at particular times of the day, especially morning and evening.  These prayer times have always centered around the psalms and prayers of thanksgiving and supplication, but they have also included scripture readings, songs of praise, and the biblical canticles.  

This semester, the Northwestern community will join our brothers and sisters in Christ throughout time and around the world in joining together in this form of worship. Our MorningSong services will include contributions from the strong choral program at NWC, the fantastic organ in Christ Chapel, and the gifts of speakers, readers and prayer leaders from the campus community.
