Psychology off campus
Don’t settle just for understanding human behavior where you’re at. Broaden your experience by observing people in other places. Northwestern offers semester-long programs in Oman and Romania and summer courses in a variety of disciplines and countries. Or you can spend a semester studying psychology in an urban setting like the Windy City.
Romania Semester
Offered every fall, the Romania Semester is presented in partnership with New Horizons Foundation, a Romanian NGO that uses adventure education and service-learning to help young Romanians develop responsibility, teamwork and trust. It’s a unique opportunity for cross-cultural learning about social development.
Chicago Semester
In addition to interning in an urban business or organization, you’ll also take classes on Christian social values and urban culture.
