Join us on the beautiful campus of Northwestern College for the first Northwestern Leadership Series conference: Courageous Communication. Dynamic keynote presentations and sessions by expert communicators will offer proven strategies for employing the power of language to speak and listen better. You’ll also learn how to navigate challenging situations with confidence and constructive conversation, as well as methods for using technology to bring people and ideas together.

The Leadership Series is sponsored by Northwestern College’s Graduate School and the Franken Leadership Center in partnership with Pizza Ranch, a restaurant chain headquartered in northwest Iowa that aims to provide legendary service and glorify God by positively impacting the world.

The conference is hosted on the campus of Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. Lodging is separate from the conference fee and is available at Orange City’s new Hampton Inn and the Holiday Inn Express in Sioux Center. Reference the Northwestern Leadership Series when you reserve your room.

Currently in his second term, Thune is chair of the Senate Republican Conference and leads the Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee. He also serves on the Finance Committee and the Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee.
