Orange City native Matthew Hulst will speak in chapel at Northwestern College on Monday, Feb. 7, at 10:05 a.m. about his work with Youth With a Mission (YWAM).
Youth With a Mission is an international volunteer movement of Christians dedicated to serving around the world. Their purpose is to know God and make him known. The organization currently has operations in 1,000 locations in 180 countries with over 18,000 volunteers.
Hulst most recently served with YWAM in Battambang, Cambodia, teaching and spreading the gospel. He will speak about his work with YWAM and serving internationally in general. Chaplain Harlan Van Oort says he hopes Hulst’s visit will “help us expand our global vision to better understand God’s world and describe how God is working in it.”
Hulst is back in Orange City to speak at a Perspectives on the World Christian Movement missions course.
