Summer of Service

Unlike SSP, in which students travel as teams, SOS team members train together but serve individually. They have traveled to places like Croatia, India, Jamaica, Malawi, Russia, South Africa and Thailand to serve with mission partners like International Teams, The Luke Society, Pioneers, and the Reformed Church in America. They have worked in hospitals, orphanages and refugee camps and taught vacation Bible school and English as a second language. They have milked yak, helped deliver babies, and held the hands of people dying of AIDS.
