Heritage Singers to participate in Messiah performance

The Northwestern College Heritage Singers will join the Sioux County Oratorio Chorus and a chamber orchestra to perform Handel’s Messiah on Saturday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium in Sioux Center.

The choir will be conducted by Dr. Thomas Holm, associate professor of music at Northwestern College. Featured soloists include Tricia Van Ee, soprano; Emily Lodine, alto; Jeffrey Brich, tenor; and Bryan Van Gelder, bass.

Admission for the concert is $7 for adults and $3 for students with advance purchase, or $9/$5 at the door. Advance tickets are available in Sioux Center at the True Vine and the Dordt College music department and in Orange City at the Dove Christian Bookstore and Northwestern’s music department.
