Deb Remmerde, the All-American guard who broke all known records by hitting 133 consecutive free throws this season, was featured on CBS’ The Early Show on Monday, Feb. 13. She didn't disappoint--she recorded a streak of 256 consecutive made free throws and missed only six of her 588 shots during the two-hour live feed.

After being interviewed at about 6:15 EST, Remmerde hit her first free throw. Her second one didn't connect, but then she reeled off a string of 75 baskets. She hit a streak of 167 and followed it up with 256 in a row before missing near the end of the two-hour broadcast in front of a crowd of about 600 in the Bultman Center.

On Feb. 15, Remmerde was named the NAIA Div. II Women's Basketball Player of the Week. She averaged 40 points in three Red Raider wins that week, shooting 59 percent from the field.
