Morning on the Green set for Oct. 2

Northwestern College’s upcoming Homecoming weekend will feature the annual Morning on the Green family carnival. Community members and alumni are invited to the event that will take place on Saturday, Oct. 2, from 9:30 to noon.

Booths at the carnival will be organized by various student groups with everything from a cupcake walk to face painting and a fishing pond. There will also be inflatable games and balloon animals. Pancakes and popcorn will be for sale on the green. 

Tickets are 25 cents each, and each activity costs two or three tickets on average. This year’s Homecoming theme is “Spread Red.” The Alumni Association will set up a reunion tent at the carnival.

Rain location is the Rowenhorst Student Center gym.
