Prof and student present research

Dr. Paul Bartlett, professor of kinesiology at Northwestern College, and senior Jessica Post presented results of their research at the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance national convention in Tampa, Fla., recently.

Bartlett and Post gave a poster presentation entitled “The Effectiveness of the Value Orientation Method in Measuring Cross-Cultural Learning.” Their research analyzed the effectiveness of an instrument used to compare how students’ perceptions of people in India changed after studying sport in that country.

Post is a senior physical education and business education major from Sioux Center.
