NWC spring enrollment highest in 10 years

Students in classroomNorthwestern College’s spring enrollment of 1,215 is its highest since 2008 and an increase of 29 from last year.

Northwestern’s graduate school has a spring-semester record of 187 students pursuing Master of Education degrees. In addition, 91.1 percent of Northwestern’s freshmen returned for the spring semester, an increase over last year’s percentage.

“We are excited to have a strong retention rate and our highest spring enrollment in a decade, especially after 46 students graduated in December,” says Mark Bloemendaal, vice president for enrollment and marketing. “These numbers show that students from all walks of life are attracted to Northwestern’s high-quality programs and integration of faith and learning, and that we are doing a good job meeting their expectations.”
