Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA)

Students may be eligible for federal and/or state financial aid. To determine your eligibility, you must:

  1. Complete the FAFSA using Northwestern’s institutional code: 001883.
  2. After acceptance into your program, Northwestern’s financial aid office will put together a financial aid package for you.

If you’re a veteran or active in the military, you’re welcome at Northwestern and we’re grateful for your service. Northwestern College participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program. Private Loans

Many different lenders provide additional loan funding to help students cover college costs. Before pursuing a private loan, first consider your grants, scholarships and federal student loans. You may qualify for a private loan even if you don’t qualify for a federal loan. No FAFSA is required to apply.

The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc. (ARC-PA) has granted Accreditation-Continued status to the Northwestern College Physician Assistant Program sponsored by Northwestern College. Accreditation-Continued is an accreditation status granted when a currently accredited program is in compliance with the ARC-PA Standards.

Accreditation remains in effect until the program closes or withdraws from the accreditation process or until accreditation is withdrawn for failure to comply with the Standards. The approximate date for the next validation review of the program by the ARC-PA will be September 2034. The review date is contingent upon continued compliance with the Accreditation Standards and ARC-PA policy.
