Northwestern College welcomes applications from students around the world. International applicants must demonstrate English proficiency. Northwestern’s Graduate and Professional Studies division English proficiency admission requirements are:
Online programs + hybrid MBA
TOEFL: 4
IELTS: 6.5
PA program
TOEFL: 5
Arrange for official English-language copies of your high school and/or college transcript(s) to be sent to Northwestern College. These must include:
- Your graduation date
- Cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale
- Class rank (if available)
- Signature and the official seal of the school sending them
College credits earned internationally will need to be evaluated by International Credential Evaluations.
Unofficial or scanned documents can be submitted, but admission will be conditional until we receive your official documents.
International applicants who require an F-1 visa to study in the United States should be aware that the visa process requires additional time.
Northwestern College can issue I-20 forms for international students enrolled in the MBA and PA programs only. International students in the MBA program must complete the program within one year as a full-time, on-campus student.

Note: Students applying to programs that require specialized licensure as an admissions requirement will require proof of comparable licensure in their country of origin.
