Distinguished alumni

Though now retired, Carolina Endert spent her social work career advocating for the welfare of children. She served as the director of social services for two hospitals in Birmingham, Ala., including the Children's Hospital and Clinics, and taught social work at the University of Alabama, Birmingham and Tuscaloosa. She also served on organizations dedicated to the prevention of child abuse.
