A Business Club officer and speech fellow, Makenzie is thankful that faith is at the center of her management courses. She credits opportunities in and outside the classroom—such as touring regional and big-city businesses—with shaping her personal and professional development. I chose to major in management because I value effective communication and thrive in collaborative business environments. After college, I plan to apply my management background at a business where I can contribute to operations, leadership and strategic growth.

I chose Northwestern because of the Christ-centered community. The people here truly help you develop personally, academically and spiritually while consistently demonstrating the love of Christ.
Bible + business
The management courses teach you how to live out your faith in the workplace and explore what the Bible says about key business principles. The professors bring a depth of experience and knowledge—and are eager to share it—which allows you to learn from their real-world insight.
No limits
Northwestern has offered many opportunities for me to step out of my comfort zone and become more confident in who I am. I’ve also grown in my faith through consistent community and small-group gatherings, and along the way I’ve gained several meaningful friendships that draw me closer to the Lord and genuinely fill me up.
