Right on target
Gianna chose Northwestern because she could tell the college is intentional about integrating faith into every aspect of campus life and that the faculty care for students. She was also excited to join the Raiders’ nationally acclaimed football team, where she has excelled as a kicker. An all-conference honorable mention selection, NAIA Scholar-Athlete and nominee for the 2026 Allstate American Football Coaches Association Good Works Team, she has raised $40,000 for the Every Kick Counts stillbirth prevention campaign. A future teacher and coach, Gianna appreciates the experience she has gained as a tutor in the Student Success Center.

Helping others succeed
I have served as a tutor for Christian Story and several math and accounting classes. I’ve enjoyed meeting lots of people through tutoring while gaining valuable teaching experience. I have also benefited from the Student Success Center, whether I’m working through a difficult concept or getting feedback on an assignment. The center is for everyone—from students who need extra support to those just looking for a little encouragement.
