Following the path
Abbie was drawn to NWC because she saw it as a place where she could grow in her faith as she prepared for a career in medical sales. At Northwestern, she has been a student ambassador and tutor in chemistry and accounting. She also serves in the Student Government Association and is active in her local church.Heart for healthcare
Going into college, I knew I wanted a science major that could transfer well to a healthcare profession. Biochemistry is an excellent major because a majority of my classmates are aiming for the medical field as well. Additionally, I appreciate the small lab sections where we apply concepts we are learning in class in a hands-on way and are able to work more closely with our professor.
Fruitful fellowship
Attending Northwestern has impacted my faith journey in many different ways. I have grown so much by being in community with my classmates and friends who are also pursuing Christ and walking the straight and narrow path with him! The support systems I have gained from Northwestern have become so crucial in my faith; I have learned what it looks like to live a fruitful life in community with other believers, and I am forever grateful for that.
