Northwestern College to hold annual Day of Giving on Feb. 8

AllNDay logoNorthwestern College will hold its annual Day of Giving on Thursday, Feb. 8. Titled AllNDay, the event is designed to encourage alumni and friends of the college to be “all in” with their support for Northwestern. The event will include an “Eras of Excellence” competition, lunch-hour challenge, and first-time donor drawing.

“AllNDay is all about celebrating and supporting our students,” says Kaleb Schrock, director of annual giving. “Last year our Day of Giving raised more than $200,000 for the Northwestern Fund, which provides annual support for student scholarships, academic programs and services that benefit our entire campus.”

This year, anonymous donors have pledged to match all AllNDay gifts up to a total of $100,000, effectively doubling the amount of each person’s gift. In addition, AllNDay donors may use their gift to vote for one of five “Eras of Excellence”: the 1960s and before, the 1970s, the 1980s, the 1990s, and 2000 to the present. Those who give to the era with the greatest increase in participation compared to last year will win a Northwestern College Bookstore gift certificate.

Multiple prize drawings are scheduled throughout the day, including the Pizza Ranch Lunch-Hour Challenge, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST. In that challenge, donors who give $75 or more during those two hours will be entered into a drawing to win one of three $100 Pizza Ranch gift cards. Other challenges include a Scooter’s Early-Bird Challenge from 8 to 10 a.m. CST and a Culver’s Afternoon Challenge from 2 to 4 p.m. CST. There will also be prize drawings for current parents and for first-time donors to Northwestern.

AllNDay gifts may be made at any time via the Day of Giving website, Updates on AllNDay giving will be posted on the website throughout the day on Feb. 8.
