Vespers service to be aired on KWIT

A recording of Northwestern College’s 2011 Christmas Vespers service will be aired twice on public radio station KWIT, FM 90.3 in Sioux City, Iowa. The service, which featured numerous Northwestern music ensembles, will air at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 23, and again at 1 p.m. on Christmas Day.

Christmas Vespers had a theme of Magnificat, Mary’s hymn of praise sung in response to the angel’s announcement that she will bear the son of God. It was presented in Christ Chapel on Dec. 3 and 4.
