Teacher Leadership credit options

Educators attending the 2018 Northwestern Leadership Series conference may earn one graduate credit or one license renewal credit through Northwestern College.
Teacher Track Sessions denotes a Teacher Leadership session focus, but you can attend any session.
(You’re also welcome to attend the Teacher Leadership sessions as a non-credit-seeking participant.)

Graduate credit requirements (45 contact hours) | $150

  • Register for the conference, choosing the graduate credit requirement option.
  • Attend a full schedule of sessions on June 25 and 26 (sessions do not have to be in the Teacher Leadership track).
  • Complete NWC online course “Teacher Leader” following the conference. The course, offered via Blackboard digital learning software, includes readings, videos, participation in an online discussion forum, and submission of a two-page report summarizing how you will apply conference information to your professional role.

License renewal credit requirements (15 contact hours) | $95

  • Register for the conference, choosing the license renewal credit option.
  • Attend a full schedule of sessions on June 25 and 26 (sessions do not have to be in the Teacher Leadership track).

The Leadership Series is hosted on the campus of Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa.
Register 4 members of your team and the 5th to attends free! Register as a group to receive the discount.

Lodging is separate from the conference registration. Area hotels include Hampton Inn and Super 8 in Orange City and Holiday Inn Express in Sioux Center.
