T.J. Buchholz-Clarke has more than 20 years of leadership experience in higher education and nonprofit administration. He served as Northwestern’s head men’s soccer coach from 2001 to 2008, then went on to coach several college soccer programs across the country, including at the NCAA Division I level with the University of Toledo.
Prior to joining Northwestern’s advancement team, T.J. served as associate director at The Ability Center in Toledo, Ohio, a nonprofit advocacy group that supports individuals living with disabilities. In addition to overseeing key resources such as assistance dogs, home accessibility and medical equipment, T.J. provided leadership in strategic planning, budgeting and capital campaign initiatives.
A proud Raider alumnus, T.J. and his wife Candace share three daughters, two of whom are students at NWC.
