Vaughn Donahue earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies at Northwestern College and a master’s degree in design thinking at Radford University. A graphic designer for 20 years with a national base of clients, he freelanced as an adjunct instructor before assuming the role of associate professor of art and design at Dordt, where he also served as department chair. Donahue’s academic interests focus on the impact of new technologies on the future of art and design, while his fine art prints reflect themes of media excess and the ethics of artificial intelligence.
