Eurama Okine is a translator, instructor and applied linguist with a Ph.D. in Hispanic studies from Texas A&M University. Her teaching style focuses on peer-to-peer and student-instructor interaction with the goal of developing students' language skills and intercultural competence. Among other honors, she was the 2020 recipient of the Honoring Teaching Excellence Award from Texas A&M University.

Okine has taught a wide range of Spanish courses, including beginning and intermediate Spanish, oral expression and Spanish for veterinarians – an interdisciplinary course that uses project-based learning to create a digital portfolio with materials for both written and oral presentation. A recipient of multiple fellowships and teaching awards, she has presented her sociolinguistic research at national and international conferences.
