Corrie Hayes Reed earned her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern College, majoring in theatre and business administration–marketing with a minor in arts administration. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in acting from Northern Illinois University and completed classical acting training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
Reed has professional experience in theatre, film, commercial, and voice-over work and is represented by Shirley Hamilton in Chicago. After graduating from Northwestern, she toured with Taproot Theatre in Seattle, where she also served as a teaching artist and development operations coordinator. While at Northern Illinois University, Reed taught multiple undergraduate theatre courses and currently co-directs the university’s Summer Arts Camp.
As a student at Northwestern, Reed was actively involved in campus theatre productions and received the Faculty Honors Award at graduation. She also participated in the American College Theatre Festival and the Irene Ryan Acting Competition.
