Called to Christ-like Care

When looking at my education and career, I can see that Northwestern has helped me think more about Christ-like caring. The love that I have felt from the professors and staff at Northwestern can only be described as the love of God through them. Allison currently works as a nurse with Western Colorado Pediatrics in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Why Northwestern College?

My experience at Northwestern has been nothing but excitement and love from my professors who walked alongside me in this journey. I chose Northwestern because I felt that God was calling me to not only a higher level of education but an education that has been centered around him. The love that I have felt from the professors and staff at Northwestern can only be described as the love of God through them.

How have you grown?

Professionally I have grown so much as a result of my education at Northwestern. I feel that God has called me to a higher purpose in life and also in my education. When looking at my education and career, I can see that Northwestern has helped me think more about Christ-like caring and the love of God that I can show to those that are in my life. As I go further into my nursing career and in life, I know with the lessons and love that have been shown to me, I will have the ability to show that to others.

Do you have advice for RNs considering their BSN?

Never give up. If this is something that you dream about then reach for it. It is never too late to reach for the education that you want. Life can give you curve balls but trust that God has a greater plan for you!
