Morning on the Green planned for Oct. 1

The annual Morning on the Green carnival will be featured during Homecoming weekend at Northwestern College. Community members, families and alumni are invited to the event on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

Morning on the Green will be comprised of activities that are run by student clubs and organizations. Inflatable games, face painting, a cakewalk, water balloon games and other carnival activities will be held in the area between Christ Chapel and Ramaker Library. Tickets are 25 cents each, and most booths will require two to four tickets.

Pancakes and popcorn will be sold on the green, along with a lunch in front of Christ Chapel. Morning on the Green will be followed by the football game against Nebraska Wesleyan, a men’s soccer game against Westminster College, and various other Homecoming and Family Weekend activities.
