Philosophy major selected for summer seminar

Anna Christensen, a senior philosophy major at Northwestern College from Waterloo, Iowa, has been accepted as a participant in the 2009 Colorado Summer Seminar in Philosophy, sponsored by the philosophy department at the University of Colorado, Boulder. 

Christensen and about 15 other outstanding undergraduates will participate in the highly intensive three-week seminar in July. The topic will focus on metaphysical and ethical questions concerning identity.

The seminar is designed to prepare participants for graduate school, and to help them gain admission into the best programs.
