Ken Davis to present comedy concert

Ken Davis, one of the most sought-after speakers in North America, will present his “Unplugged” comedy concert at Northwestern College’s Christ Chapel on Saturday, Nov. 3, at 7:30 p.m. Part of Northwestern’s Fall Family Weekend, the event is co-sponsored by Northwestern and RISE Ministries.

Tickets for the event are $10 for Northwestern College students, parents, employees and their family members; $15 in advance for the general public; and $19 in advance for Gold Circle seating (the first five rows). At the door, tickets will be $18. Tickets at the Northwestern rate and Gold Circle tickets can be purchased in the student development office in the Rowenhorst Student Center. General admission tickets may be purchased at The Dove in Orange City and The True Vine in Sioux Center.  Davis spent 15 years working for Youth for Christ, and in the last 25 years has traveled the nation as a speaker. Known for a mixture of side-splitting humor and inspiration that delights and enriches audiences of all ages, he is the host of a daily radio show, “Lighten Up,” heard on over 800 stations across America.

Davis has written nine books including “How to Live With Your Parents Without Losing Your Mind” and “How to Live With Your Kids When You’ve Already Lost Your Mind.” His books have received national critical acclaim, including the Campus Life “Book of the Year” award and the CBA Gold Medallion Award.

As president of Dynamic Communications, Davis provides seminars and a video series that teaches speaking skills to ministry personnel and corporate executives. A native of Minnesota, he is a graduate of Oak Hills Bible College.
