Northwestern business prof earns MBA

Brandon Woudstra, a lecturer in business at Northwestern College, has earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Dakota (USD).

The M.B.A. program at USD emphasizes decision making, problem solving, understanding the role of business in society, and developing leadership ability and social responsibility. In addition to the standard M.B.A. curriculum, Woudstra took courses in sports marketing and higher education.

A member of Northwestern’s faculty since 2010, Woudstra teaches marketing, management and business ethics courses. He is also a licensed residential real estate appraiser and an independent contractor for basketball organizations. A 2003 business administration graduate of Northwestern, Woudstra played professional basketball in Europe for six years.
