Service team makes front page of Mississippi newspaper

Students and faculty from Northwestern College who assisted Mendenhall Ministries in Mississippi over spring break made the front page of the Simpson County News when they installed what is believed to be the first working solar panel in Simpson County. The ministry hopes to install panels like that on homes of those in need of assistance with their utility bills.

Social work professor Mark De Ruyter and student Seth Lembke learned how to make the panels over Christmas break in West Virginia.
