Theatre Patrons begin membership drive

Membership rates for the 2008–09 theatre season are $65 for an “Actor” membership, and $125 for “Actor +1” (two memberships). The patrons have also introduced two new membership levels for 2008–09: $250 to be a “Director” Theatre Patron and $500 to be designated a “Producer.”

All Theatre Patrons are recognized in show programs and receive pre-paid tickets to the season’s shows. They are also invited to an end-of-season banquet. Tickets and the banquet are valued at $38.

“Director” and “Producer” members receive two pre-paid tickets per show, a theatre T-shirt, backstage tour and $25 in concessions credit. “Producers” are also invited to a reception and receive a theatre poster.

Those interested in supporting Northwestern theatre but unable to attend any of the productions or the banquet still can join at the $30 “Understudy” (associate) membership rate.

Patrons will be notified prior to each ticketed show so they can call the box office ahead of the general public to reserve their preferred seating to shows that usually sell out.

The 2008–09 season includes family show Tell Me the Truth, an encore presentation of Terror Texts, Shakespeare’s Othello, and The Foreigner. In addition, each season includes the directing class one acts and the annual World Premiere Festival. Show details are available at www.nwciowa.edu/theatreseason.
