Andres speaks at religion conference

Dr. Michael Andres, associate professor of religion at Northwestern College, spoke at the regional meeting of the American Academy of Religion in Omaha March 23–24.

Andres presented a paper, “How Does Thinking About Things Form the Christian Life? Consumerism, Theological Method and Sanctification.”

A member of Northwestern’s faculty since 1998, Andres teaches systematic theology, philosophical theology, Calvin and Calvinism, and Christian ethics. He earned a doctorate in philosophy of religion from King’s College, University of London, and a master’s degree in theological studies from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Miss. He did his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University.
