Marketing (tenure-track)

Northwestern College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in marketing beginning August 2018.

QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. or D.B.A. in marketing or a closely related field is preferred. Hiring preference will be given to persons with practical business experience and who are eager to involve students in project-based, experiential learning and data analysis. ABDs and professionals with a master’s degree and significant work experience will be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will teach marketing courses in the areas of marketing research, retailing and services marketing, and the candidate’s field of interest. The normal teaching load is 24 credit hours per academic year. The department is especially interested in candidates who can work collegially and effectively with others, in addition to carrying out scholarly activity, student advising and faculty governance responsibilities.

The candidate will exhibit a love of Christ and an embrace of the Gospel, and support the college’s mission as expressed in our Statement of Christian Identity, Vision for Learning and Vision for Diversity.
