Director of Discipleship

Northwestern College seeks a highly motivated full-time director of discipleship to begin as early as January 1, 2022. Successful candidates will show evidence of a vibrant personal faith in Jesus Christ, a knowledge and comfort in campus ministry initiatives, and a commitment to see our Christian academic community flourish in living and learning together. Mobilizing both individuals and teams into effective discipleship ministry will happen through small group ministries, biblical teaching, prayer gatherings, spiritual discipline training, retreats, justice and service initiatives, reconciliation efforts, local church and ministry partnerships, and mentoring opportunities.

A Master of Divinity degree or an appropriate degree in student development, theology or spiritual formation is preferred, along with 5-10 years of related ministry leadership experience.

The successful candidate  will have an authentic Christian faith and support the college’s mission and identity as expressed in our Vision for LearningVision for Diversity and Statement of Christian Identity.
