The Department of History invites applications for a tenure-track position in American history to begin in August 2014.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in American history and be prepared to teach general education courses in history, and specialized courses in their field of American history. Experience and training in secondary history education is highly desired. Applicants with a record of teaching experience and excellent reviews preferred. Additional responsibilities include advising and recruiting students, scholarship, and departmental and committee service.
