Bill Minnick Director of Career Development
Bill Minnick serves as director of the Career Development Center, where he assists students with their cover letters and résumés, guides them in their job search, helps them research and apply to graduate schools, develops and promotes internship opportunities, and cultivates the college's relationships with employers. Minnick holds a master's degree in educational psychology—with an emphasis in human development and college student development—from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. During and after graduate school, he spent a year as a career services intern at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He then served as an assistant director of career services at the University of Sioux Falls before joining Northwestern's staff.
Minnick served two terms as president of Career Professionals of Iowa, an association of career development professionals at all of the state's higher education institutions.
