Professor Draayer specializes in early childhood special education. A 2009 Northwestern College graduate who earned a master's degree in early childhood education from the University of South Dakota, Draayer is certified to teach preschool and kindergarten special education, K-12 Spanish and English as a second language, as well as psychology for grades 5-12. In addition to teaching in Northwestern's graduate school, she also works at the Northwest Area Education Agency as a bilingual early childhood special education teacher and consultant.
